Getting there!

We grabbed another weekend....well 4 days actually! away in the caravan

  Stirling - Witches Craig Caravan park

We arrived Friday night and stayed till Tuesday morning

We so lucked in with the weather and had a lovely time. 

there are lovely views of the hills on this camp site

and Harry and Dylan had to climb them

This is my neice Adele and her little boy Cody, having some fun on my bike,
it's a great picture of them both, hard to believe that only a year ago she was fighting for her life in the operating theatre with a splenic aneurysm only 4 days after having Cody. Her survival is a miracle and how lucky her little one was that he was born before it ruptured. They both look so healthy and happy and Cody took his first steps at the weekend too!

On Saturday we went to theirs,  in Bridge of Allan

 for her little boy Dakota's birthday party.

Charlotte had a ball, on the boys new trampoline
and bounced all day (forgot to get a pic)....I don't know where she gets all her energy!

I was thinking today that he is the last child in the family to get it!

 Im all up to date:) so some things are getting done around here!

We also celebrated Harry's Birthday

I cant believe he's 15 already! and Im so proud he got his first exam result back this week and scored a grade 'A' in his Int 1 Media Studies...Well done Harry! :)

Charlotte started Nursery today she was so excited about going and couldn't wait to get in!

I was excited for her, I knew she would love it, tonight she went to bed thinking about what she was going to play with there tomorrow. 

I enjoyed the 2 hrs in my studio and I'm now working on tags and catching up which is good.

When they are all done and Im back to making them for the Tuesday I'll be happy :)

Regatta, Bunting & Flags

I had so many ideas for this weeks Tag Tuesday 'Bunting & Flags' theme
 but was so busy this week that

I only really turned my mind to my tag this morning with just about an hour to spare!

In my little box of tags, cut from greetings cards I found the perfect background to set the scene.

and a couple of iris flowers which I made from a little miniature kit,

these were inspired from the lovely flowers I was given on Saturday for my birthday

The finished tag made me think of a sunny summer regatta!

It's been such a busy couple of weeks I have had very little time to spend being creative,

If it wasn't for Tag Tuesday and my extra challenge to have them made by and posted on each Tuesday then I would probably not have taken any time out to be creative in the past three weeks! mind you after having a lovely 5 days to be as creative as I wanted whenever I wanted and being able to get a huge part of my flower quilt remake done I can hardly complain.

The week before last was a week of re-thinking, changing, removing and replacing.

My niece moved house on the Sunday and Monday, I helped there, which spurred me into re-thinking the girls room. April has moved back home again for a while and has squeezed in to share with Charlotte.

Too much furniture not enough good storage, so I put the bedroom furniture up for sale on the Thursday, by Saturday it was sold collected on Sunday and a trip out followed to buy a better replacement.

Of course when you got no storage, you cant put it off for a few days, the beds were piled high with stuff! and we spend the Sunday afternoon and well into the evening building and fitting the new wardrobes

At last its all filled and the girls have a little bit more space to dress, play, make-up and sleep.
 I think they are happy in their new space now :)

This little collection was inspired by a banner I was working on for a little girl call Rosie who recently celebrated her first birthday. The fabric is so sweet I love working with it its nearly all gone..............

This is the end triangle which was the inspiration for the Accessories.
