In The Pink!

Two Pink themed fabric ATCs for a Swap-bot swap.

ATC on the right

Hand dyed jersey cotton with organza overlay, machine couched yarn & hand embroidered centre embellished with seed beads & pink bugle beads to finish. Edge is hand stitched in space dyed 'Oliver twist' machine cotton.

ATC on the left

Pink space dyed cotton, machine stitched & embellished with hand painted fabric daisies and seed beads. Edge is hand stitched in space dyed 'Oliver Twist' machine cotton.

Both ATCs are now on their way to my swap partners in USA I hope they like them :o)

Sunshine

With the weather here in Scotland being so changeable on a day to day basis I thought I would post a little sunshine .........

For Lilly & Penny

I did a swap with Shannon who makes the most beautiful wire and bead butterflies and dragonflies. I now have four of her beautiful creations in the windows of my studio and my daughter April also has one in her room.

This is a single pennant I made for her little girl called Lilly

I have so many family birthday's in April & May especially I just kept going.........

This next one is for our sweet little niece called Penny who has special needs. She is having a whole new bedroom designed and built just for her and the equipment needed to care for her also it help her mum as she wont have to carry her upstairs. I hope she likes her banner and that it will be a nice addition to her new surroundings.

Daisy ~ Dotee Doll

I wanted to make another Dotee doll with lots more beadwork & this is the result, Daisy Dotee. She is going somewhere special, I shall be posting her far away to a lovely lady who brightened up my day and made me smile with a very long email & whom I think she is just perfect for :o)
