Inspired by similar ideas for storing soft toys on Pinterest. I decided to convert this wooden corner shelf unit that my Dad built a few years ago, to a more usable storage unit for Charlotte's soft toys. I'm sure dad would have been delighted to see how we have re-purposed it!
Kevin drilled 5mm holes through the thick pine base and top.
Eye screws hold the 5mm thick pink bungee cord in place on the inner shelf edges.

Fabulous idea Yvonne. 'We' have a lot of soft toys that end up all over the floor when the one desperately needed is yanked from the bottom of the box! Haha. And they toy hammock's hooks, just kept getting pulled out of the wall (dreadful plasterboard!), so that went to storage heaven. I shall be on the look out at the local recycling centre for one of these corner units, or even a small shelving unit, like ones intended as a bookcase, that could be done the same way. :o) Mo x
The idea lends itself to many shelf / bookcases any Size and shape. This corner unit because of its shape could only store a couple of things on each shelf but this way it can hold a huge amount of the little little furry creatures !
