Thanks for baking these pies to share. They look delicious! My grandmother used to bake mince pies for holidays. When I retired, I intended to bake for my grandsons. I tried several pies, but I don't think I have a good pie crust recipe. At least, they are not like my mother used to make! Then I tried to make scones, as I became interested in our Scottish heritage. I made a big mess! It took me forever to get the dough into a semblance of dough. They tasted alright, but I didn't have the dish I intended to make for breakfast, ready until after school was out that evening. I still want to bake cookies, scones, pies, and the like for my grandsons, and myself, if the truth be told. Have a tremendous 2008!
